Elementary: This professional learning introduces elementary educators to Artificial Intelligence (AI) addressing foundational concepts, its significance in education, and ethical considerations.Ìý
Secondary: This professional learning focuses on the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education.Ìý It highlights the importance of AI literacy, strategies to make assessments AI-proof, and ways to integrate AI into classroom activities to enhance learning and creativity.

Elementary (K-Gr. 3): This professional learning opportunityÌýis designed to provide Kindergarten to Grade 3 educators with time to collaborate with grade partners about intentional planning, assessment and instruction in Literacy.Ìý The learning is designed to refine, deepen and extend educators’ application and integration of expectations in the Ontario Language Curriculum and/or The Kindergarten Program.Ìý
Secondary: Educators will extend their learning from the September 2024 Professional Activity Day.Ìý It includes opportunities for educators to reflect on current practices, share their experiences, and collaboratively plan next steps to support literacy and strengthen the reading rope for all students.

School staff will be reviewing the implementation of the revised Code of Conduct with a specific focus on the new cell phone guidelines and electronic cigarette awareness.Ìý Staff will collaborate in learning related to social media and cell phones, and will engage with resources addressing the dangers of vaping and vaping cessation.Ìý Feedback on the implementation process will also be collected from schools.
